Lakes Of the Four Seasons is a private gated community in the Heart of Northwest Indiana, 45 miles Southeast of Chicago, Illinois. Four Seasons has many amenities including 4 lakes that cover over 280 acres of the 1796-acre development, with nearly 11 miles of shoreline including 3 sand beaches. The Lakes are used for boating, swimming, skiing, fishing, and are stocked with a wide variety of game fish. The 18-hole championship golf course runs through Four Seasons, a private membership Country Club, to which all property owners are eligible to apply. The pro shop is also home to 'The Seasons Bar & Grill', putting green and driving range. The clubhouse grounds are the focal point of the 'Seasons' and contain the Clubhouse with its ballroom, Restaurant, lounge and the Property Owners Association offices. The Olympic sized swimming pool and championship tennis courts can also be found on the grounds. 4th of July festivities are held on the Clubhouse Grounds where one of the area's best fireworks displays can be seen. The Seasons will spend $8,500 on this years display. The 'Four Seasons' employs it's own security force. All of the officers are deputized Lake and Porter County Sheriffs Police. They patrol the 26 miles of streets and 13 parks within Lakes Of the Four Seasons. |
